Pecan Tassies Unverified!



  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 3oz. pkg cream cheese
  • 2 cups flour


  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp margarine
  • 1/8tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


Pastry: Blend margarine and cream cheese, add flour.

(The original recipe does not specify, but Internet research indicates that one it to press quarter-sized disks of pastry into the bottom of greased small muffin tins.)

Filling: Mix together filling ingredients and spoon into unbaked shells. Bake at 250F for about 1/2 hour -- until golden brown.
