Oriental Pork or Beef Unverified!

Another amazing type job on this one with a marvelous serif-less ball.


  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 bullion cube, unknown flavor, probably beef
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cider(?) vinegar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 lbs pork or beef, cut into 1/2 cubes. Go nuts, young man.
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pineapple
  • 5 oz. can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1/4lb "Chinese pea pods", it was a different era
  • 1 1/4 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tomato, cut into 1/8th wedges
  • chow mein noodles or rice


Combine garlic, bouillon, 1/3 cup water, vinegar and soy sauce. Add meat product. Marinate at room temperature for 1 hour. Simmer uncovered, 30 minutes and add pineapple, water chestnuts and onion. Simmer 5 minutes.

Stir in pea pods, cook 5 minutes. Soften cornstarch in 1 Tbsp water and stir into mixture. Cool until thick and clear. Add tomato, salt and pepper. Serve with chow mein noodles or rice (end note: "Ala Bulgar wheat", yo)
