Ginger Pear Crumble Unverified!

Yield: 6 servings


  • 1 1/2 cup crumbled ginger snaps
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 pears or 1lb can drained pear halves
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • maraschino cherries


Combine crumbs, brown sugar, salt and butter. Put half of mixture in bottom of 8-inch baking dish. Top with pear halves, cut side up. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Bake at 350F for 25 or 30 minutes. Top each pear with a cherry. Serve warm topped with ice cream or whipping cream.
