Edna's Cranberry Sauce Unverified!


  • 1 pkg cranberries
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups sugar


Cook cranberries in orange juice until they pop. Strain. Stir in sugar. Bring to rolling boil. Boil 2-3* mins.

My mother has made the following annotations to the recipe: she's increased the final boil time to 5 minutes and written --

"Mold in *metal pan*. Cool to room temperature then refrigerate. Add 1/2 package gelatin for firmer sauce"
