  • 1? egg, separated
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • 1 jigger (or more) brandy


Beat white of egg very stiff. Add 3/4 cup sugar and beat until it stands in peaks. Beat yolk of eggs, add to whites. Beat 3/4 cup cream and add. Add 1 jigger (or more) of brandy.

[Note: Its hard to say how many eggs are supposed to be in this recipe. They are specified both singularly and plurally in the preparation. It seems like a fair amount of other ingredients for just one egg, but perhaps its only to add a bit of creaminess]
