Warm Avacadoes with Tangy Topping Unverified!

Yield: 4 servings
Warm avacados sounds maybe a little sexy, no?


  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 Tbl sunflower oil or substitute
  • a few dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 rip avacados, halved and pitted
  • 2 small tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 Tbl fresh basil marjoram or parsley
  • 2 oz Lancashire or mozzarelle cheese, sliced
  • salt and pepper, to taste


Fry the onion in the oil until softened and shake in a bit of Worchestershire sauce. Divide the tomato slices, herbs and chese over the avacade halves. Season well and grill until the cheese melts and begins browning.
