Rum-Baked Bananas Unverified!


  • 4 bananas
  • 1 orange, juiced and rind grated
  • 2 Tbl dark rum
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, optional
  • generous pinch ground ginger
  • grated nutmeg
  • 3 Tbl butter


Peel and slice bananas into four small ramekins. Spoon orange juice and rum over bananas. Sprinkle with the sugar, orange rind and spices. Needs research: "Dot with butter".

Cover ramekins with foil and bake for 15min at 350F.

Allow to cool slightly before serving with cream or yogurt, or maybe that ice cream stuff if you go that far.
