Little Meat Loaves Unverified!

Ground ham is apparently difficult to come by. I bet in a pinch, diced would do pretty nicely.


  • 3/4 lb ground chuck
  • 3/4 lb ground ham
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes, leftover or instant
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 twists ground pepper
  • 2 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 cup water


Mix meat and mashed potatoes together before adding eggs and milk. Work in bread crumbs* and season with salt and pepper.

Form into 3"x2" loaves in rows in a buttered dish. Add the bouillon water and cover dish with aluminum foil.

Back at 375F for 60 minutes. Remove foil and allow to brown the tops of loaves under the broiler.
