Bill's Bloody Marys, Rosemont New Year Stylee

Another cursed recipe. Over the course of a week at Sea Ranch I'd come up with the killer Bloody Mary recipe that took me the better part of a week to sus out. And man, it had a little of everything. When condiments are use-or-loose, suddenly pouring through that horseradish sounds like a good idea, doesn't it? Its was kind of a fussy recipe and while this one is maybe not as ambrosial, it is certainly serviceable enough to fly in Italy where I'd wanted it most.

  • 1 12 oz pint glass, full of ice
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 2 Tbl lemon juice
  • 4-5 dashes Tabasco
  • 2 dashes Worchestershire
  • 4 dashes garlic salt
  • 5-6 grinds pepper
  • 1 celery stalk

Mix all ingredients together except the celery stalk and find a "capping cup", something that will fit over the top to allow you to shake the cocktail (else one could probably use a cocktail shaker, but man, the cleanup". Garnish with celery.
