Currently only works with IE+Windows.
Warning: The digital compression artifiacts which are a fact of life for most of these feeds has proven to have detrimental effects to one's long-term listening and may prove lossy to hearing in general. Moderate listening habits are encouraged though not yet enforced.
Also, listening to prolonged periods of Europop is known to cause insanity or, at least, moderate mental discomfort for most American listeners.
Making this work with Firefox:
This application requires Active X control of your windows media player and since Firefox doesn't handle this natively you'll need to get the Active X plugin from Adam Lock's project [
here]. Technically you are going to introduce insecurities into Firefox when you do this but live adventureously or just use IE from the get-go for this page (you -do- have the IEView extension, don't you?)
Note: In Italy things are kind of fast and loose and that includes URLs and stream integrity. Depending on how long it has been since I've dicked with the underlying data, some or all of these streams may be broken. In a perfect world I'd have some sort of AJAX-y control that would feed back to the app when connection/failure occured so I could have a "last known good" stamp. Something for the future perhaps.
