Combine garlic, bouillon, 1/3 cup water, vinegar and soy sauce. Add meat product. Marinate at room temperature for 1 hour. Simmer uncovered, 30 minutes and add pineapple, water chestnuts and onion. Simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in pea pods, cook 5 minutes. Soften cornstarch in 1 Tbsp water and stir into mixture. Cool until thick and clear. Add tomato, salt and pepper. Serve with chow mein noodles or rice (end note: "Ala Bulgar wheat", yo)
