Sift together, flour, sugar soda and salt. Add one egg. Mix well -- the mixture will become like crumb. May use a slotted spoon. Add large can fruit cocktail, drained. Put into greased pan or pyrex dish. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar.
Spread nut meats over sugar.
Bake 1 hour & 20 minutes at 300F. Serve topped with whipped cream or cool wip.
