Egg Nog Pie Unverified!

Ingredients

  • baked pie crust or graham cracker crust
  • 3 Tbsp water
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups egg nog
  • 1 cup whipped cream, beaten stiff
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp rum or brandy
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

Preparation

Put gelatin in cold water. Warm egg nog over water [double boiler]. Stir in gelatin until dissolved.

Chill until partially set, then beat smooth. Add rum or brandy, sugar, almond extract + whipped cream. Fold into eggnog.

Pour into pie shell. Let set. Serve with a little whipped cream as topping.
