Cottage Cheese Tuna Salad Unverified!

Ingredients

  • 1 small can tuna
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 small can water chestnuts, drained
  • 12 oz. cottage cheese
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecan
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • salt + pepper, to taste

Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup water placed over hot water to melt [a double boiler?]. Mix all together and let it congeal for 4 to 24 hours. Let it refrigerate overnight.
