Beef Stroganoff - Nell Unverified!

• 2 1/2 lb round steak, cut into 1/2" strips
• 1/4 cup salad oil
• 1 Tbsp salt
• 1/2 tsp pepper
• 1/2 cup sherry
• 1 cup onion, cut
• 2 cup sliced mushrooms
• 1 can consume
• 1 carton sour cream
• 1 small can tomato paste
• 3 Tbsp flour
• 1 bay leaf, crumbled
• 1 clove garlic, crushed
• 1/4 tsp accent

Brown meat in oil. Put in casserole. Add salt, pepper and sherry. Saute onions in drippings until golden brown. Mix together paste, consume and flour. Add bay leaf, garlic and accent. Mix and pour over meat. 350F for 1 hour or until meat is tender. Stir in sour cream when ready to serve. Serve over rice.
